Financial Coaching

For a modest fee of only $35 per 50-minute session, financial coaching with Dr. Tim Shorb is available at the CCES office in Hanover, PA. Dr. Shorb will help you evaluate your financial situation, set a realistic budget, and assist with accountability to assure you are able to stick to your budget and experience financial healing. It won’t be easy, but the result will be worth the effort.

Financial Seminars

CCES works closely with local churches to bring help, hope and healing where it is needed. With intense Bible study, sermon preparation, church administration, pastoral counseling and visits, and hundreds of other duties—a pastor may not have time to prepare and teach a financial seminar, even though he may be well qualified to do so.

Dr. Tim Shorb is available to teach a seminar or series of seminars at or for your church. The Bible has a great deal to say about personal finances and stewardship. Dr. Shorb’s seminars begin with basic biblical principles and then delve into practical 21st century applications.

Helping church members understand what the Bible says about personal finances, establish and live on a budget, reduce and eventually eliminate debt, and save for the future brings great blessings and benefits to any church family.

About Dr. Tim Shorb

Dr. Timothy B. Shorb holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education, the Doctor of Religious Education degree, and the Ph.D. degree in Church Administration. During 28 years of service in the field of missionary administration, he handled multi-million dollar budgets and assisted hundreds of missionaries with their personal support budgets.

Dr. Tim Shorb has a burden to help individuals and couples with their personal and family budgets and debt management. He is a graduate of a Christian “Money Map Coaching” program and is a Certified Life Coach (certificate from Light University, a branch of the American Association of Christian Counseling).
